The Workman family have been at The Beeches Farm for three Generations. We have been milking Montbeliarde cows since 2001 achieving high quality fresh milk on a grass based system. We endeavour to have the highest welfare standards and provide the right environment for our cows to thrive.
With help from our milk buyer Nestle, we are working towards a more sustainable future. So far we have planted 536 metres of hedge and fenced 871 metres of the river Petteril. Every year we commit to more environmental and social work to benefit the local community.
We have now moved our milking herd to Ellerton Farm at Southwaite, where we use Lely robots to milk, clean and feed our cows. They can still be seen outside grazing and have access through our grazeway to come in and get milked. Happy cows!

CARD ONLY MACHINES
You can come and collect your own fresh milk from the back entrance to The Beeches Farm.
Re-usable bottles can be purchased from our bottle vending machine. Just £3.50 for a bottle that you can use again and again, then just £1.40 a litre for our super fresh, local milk.
We sell milkshake in a cup or a bottle. £1.80 for 500ml of milkshake.
Our flavours are strawberry, chocolate, banana and a different special each week.
We also sell ice cream from our vending machine for £2.50. Add an extra topping for 50p choosing from strawberry, chocolate, toffee sauce/smarties, biscotti and oreo.
